I was preparing to the celebrate the Sabbath in the secret place of Elyon and in the shelter of Shaddai when there appeared before me One like a Son of God; whose lower body was like the sun and whose upper parts was the Light of God. In His hand He held a staff of precious metal, which was a very sharp sword, silver in appearance but infinitely more precious than gold. Looking at it I became aware that its value was equal to all creation.
And with the staff in His hand He said He said to me “what do you see”? I said, “Lord, I see a unclean thing with claws like a crab” and I was utterly astonished at what I saw…
There are things I understand now that I didn’t understand then.
The first concerns the fact that on that very day a close friend of mine was reaching the end of his fight against cancer. He would in fact pass away exactly seven days later.
The second demonstrates God’s omniscience for I was not to know that astrology was a part of the background (the crab is an astrological symbol).
Despite our earnest and continuing prayers, Mark was not healed. His last days spoke more of the ravages of cancer than the glory of the Lord. But on his last day, on the 10th, a deep peace descended and Mark departed this life ready to meet his Saviour. It was palpable.
For this did Christ come to the world; and for this He was crucified and raised again to Glory.
No sin will remain hidden and unjudged. The time to repent is now.
